Wye Valley Communities for Safe Cycling
|
We are a group of local people from the lower Wye Valley who want to be able to cycle locally and safely. We are independent of any other group. Our initial aim is to support the Sustrans initiative to build a largely off road cycle route from Chepstow to Brockweir Bridge, and then to support other local links in the Wye Valley. We hope to see our villages connected with safe and environmentally friendly transport routes. We support, as Sustrans intends, that tracks be designed for use by the disabled and walkers, as well as cyclists, so that our beautiful Wye Valley can be shared by many. We do not support the use of compulsory purchase powers. |
